Scarborough
There are two splendid bays, separated by Scarborough Castle headland;
Victorian cliff lifts reach the town from south bay, With some of
the finest and most beautiful gardens in Britain. We offer safe
and sandy beaches numerous rock pools, which provide a wonderful
day for all the family, not forgetting the town centre with its
array of individual and interesting shops. There is plenty of entertainment
during the day and evening for all the family, there are fishing
and speedboat trips from the harbour and many places to eat
that will suit every pocket. There are many visitor attractions
including the Sea life Centre, Peasholm Park with its summer concerts,
Spa Theatre, YMCA and Steven Joseph Theatre with live productions
and concerts. Indoor and out door swimming pools, Museums, bowling
greens and cricket ground and of course Oliver's Mount for the Motor
Bike Racing. Scarborough has many beautiful places to walk
such as North & South Bays, Cayton Bay and charming hamlets
close by.
The
North Yorkshire Moors National Park
is only 3 miles away and combines the solitude of the heather moors
with the picturesque villages of Goathland (Heart Beat country)
and Hutton le Hole. Special Events such as the free
music festival on the beach in August, Cricket festival in July
& end Aug, music and jazz festivals, bowling competitions
and many more. Scarborough has 2 excellent Golf Courses
and many more within travelling distance, There is something
for everyone.

Attractions A pleasant visit to the North Yorkshire Moors
Steam Railway which has featured in Harry Potter, Heart Beat, and
The Royal, Eden Camp War Museum, Castle Howard and many more Stately
Homes There is also WHITBY famous for its connection with Dracula,
its 199 steps up to the Abbey and many quaint and cobbled streets
a real step back in time, a little further away is YORK with
its magnificent Minister, Jorvik Centre, Ghost walks and splendid
shopping and dozens of other attractions.
